Vehicle Parking

Please note traffic pattern shifts for the day of the airshow. These include NO LEFT TURN into Vance Brand Airport from NORTHBOUND Airport Road from 7 am to 5 pm on the day of the Airshow. There will also be no airport access from St. Vrain Road or Rogers Road west of Airport Road.

The following map is provided for reference. Green arrows represent preferred routes to the Airshow entrance at 229 Airport Road.

Attendants will direct vehicles to parking locations within the airport property. Limited parking will also be available along Rogers Road.

Motorcycle and Handicapped Parking

The same traffic patterns described above apply to motorcycle and handicapped parking. Follow the preferred routes to the main Vance Brand Airport Airshow entrance at 229 Airport Road.

Attendants will direct you to the appropriate parking locations on airport property. Handicapped parking is on level concrete within 100 yards of the main pedestrian entrance. For expediency, please ensure your handicapped placard is visible to the traffic control volunteers.

Bicycle Parking

The Longmont Airshow will feature ample bicycle parking conveniently located inside the main entrance. Please be aware that Airport Road will be extremely busy and cyclists should exercise extreme caution. Consider utilizing the St. Vrain Greenway Airport Road bicycle underpass to reach the west side (airport side) of Airport Road.

Attendants will direct you to the appropriate bicycle parking location once you enter the airport property.

Ride-Share Drop-off

Don’t want to deal with parking? Use a ride-share service! The Longmont Airshow will have a ride-share drop-off right at the main entrance. From there, you can walk a short distance to the Airshow’s main pedestrian entrance.

(Just be sure your driver is aware of the traffic pattern changes for the day of the airshow as shown in the map above.)

Flying in?

General Aviation transient parking is available at KLMO for pilots wishing to attend the Airshow. However, aircraft parking may become limited on the day of the show so please plan accordingly. Ramp space will be extremely limited and parking on the grass is likely – bring your own tie-downs.

CTAF frequency will NOT be monitored for field parking condition requests.

Skydiving may be ongoing prior to and after the Airshow – DO NOT OVERFLY mid-field.

Please note that the airport will be NOTAM’ed closed during the airshow performance. This closure will take place roughly between 10:45 am and 3:10 pm on Saturday.

Your aircraft may be parked in an area the general public has access to. Use caution at all times and plan accordingly.
